The spirit of giving and wishing well for everyone can be an everyday affair and you have the ability to remind yourself of this on the very machine which you sit in front of daily for the majority of your time!

HTC and TILT Advertising have pushed out two campaigns for two great mobile phones in a big way.

The first OOH campaign involves a 3D live band set-up on two bus-stop shelters to bring out the phone’s surround sound capability – HTC Sensation XE music phone. The Sensation XE is the first mobile phone to have an audio equipment integrated into it. Targeted at influential and stylish Expressionist, the Sensation XE raises the bar for music phones! The 2 bus-stop showcases can be found at bus-stops near Heeren and Bugis.

Working with us, HTC also put out another campaign for its HTC Rhyme, targeting fashionistas by introducing the phone as a fashion piece and advertised in female magazines such as Cleo, Female and Singapore’s Women Weekly. Introducing a charm as an accessory which glows whenever you receive a call or message. In our lady’s bag where there so many important items, no more fumbling in the handbag to take a call!

Together with PHD as the media-buy agency, the campaigns have permeated the island.

Print ads across newspapers and magazines are currently running as well as OOH media, notably Heeren, Bugis, Cineleisure, Chevron House and Cathay.

Read more at our TILT Press page

More information on the new HTC phones

HTC Sensation XE
Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?

With their latest brainchild, the Sensation XE with Beats Audio™ built in, HTC has raised the benchmark for music phones. Users can now enjoy the unprecedented quality of music on-the-go with captivating displays on a qHD screen, backed up by a faster 1.5 Ghz dual core CPU.

Once again, with an interactive approach in mind, HTC showcased the Sensation XE with Beats Audio™ atop two bus stops at high-traffic locations. Together with long-time partner, TILT, the bus stop was decorated with specially-made 3D instruments laid out in a live band formation.

HTC RHYME
The latest female magazines – Cleo, Female and Singapore’s Women Weekly together with Tilt explored a creative approach of launching a phone – HTC Rhyme. The phone was introduced like how a fashion piece was sold at retail outlets.

The HTC Rhyme collection, including a charm that glows when you receive a call or message, a bluetooth headset and speaker, tangle-free headphones and a sports armband.

Based on the headline, you may be wondering if TILT has made a grammatical error or is TILT just a one-man photography company? The answer to your question in the head is that it is none of the above! “I AM” is the new Nikon campaign. To be spot on, it is “I AM Nikon” campaign, which incorporates television, print and digital media. The campaign plays on Nikon’s existing tagline ‘At the heart of the image’ and includes real-life scenarios in which people show who they are with a Nikon camera. For example, what makes Robbie Williams overwhelmed with emotion? What has a baby got in common with the first man on the moon? “I am Here”, shows holidaymakers exploring the Egyptian pyramids. “I am Part of the World”, features people from across the globe interacting with each other using the internet and their Nikon cameras. Over at TILT, sports photography has always been a big thing for us. Our extensive coverage includes us being the Official Photographers for Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore for 4 years, Singapore Paintball Series for 3 years and many more other sporting events! In fact, as we are updating this blog post, our photographers are shooting sports climbing. This is part of our work to profile the Team Singapore athletes in action for the SEA Games 2011, which will be happening this November!
The answer to your question in the head is that it is none of the above!

“I AM” is the new Nikon campaign. To be spot on, it is “I AM Nikon” campaign, which incorporates television, print and digital media.

That explains why in the headline, we wrote “Sports Photographers” instead of Sports Photographer. In fact, in September 2011, as part of Nikon Inspiration Showcase, for the Sports & Action theme, our only submitted photograph was one of the 7 photographs, taken by Singaporeans, to make the final cut of 25 photos from the numerous photographs submitted to be showcased!

“If you are that good, then why do you not submit more photographs?”

That may be a question which you may ask. Well, with our clients in the sporting arena, all our photographs, that we took, actually belongs to the clients. This one single photo that we submitted also happened while we are taking a break on assignment!

Are we sports photographers? You can decide after seeing the photograph below.

To view the photograph on facebook without any watermark, please click here.

p/s: the watermark was created purely for the purpose of this blog post and is not at all related to the Nikon “I AM” campaign. Oh…we will be covering the 6th Asean Para Games 2011 happening in Indonesia as well!

From quickly organising the logisitics, gathering the talents, and planning for the photoshoot to post-processing the images, DI, while working on the numerous items that have almost immediate deadlines, it truly was a hectic period. As such, when an email came in on one night where our guys still did not have their dinner at 2am, it truly made their day (or rather night)!
TILT had been involved with the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore since 2007. Having been involved in our previous capacity as Official Photographers in the past 4 years, the Marathon has a place in our heart for everyone in TILT. In these 4 years, we had witnessed the strength of the human spirit, the power of love and saw how everyone walked out as a winner. We are inspired by all of you. And we say all of you as there is an astonishing 60,000 of you who wake up in the wee hours in the morning and make your way to the starting line. Throughout these 4 years, the client had asked us several times if we are interested in being involved in the creatives and we had always declined. Our reason? We are not ready…yet! We want to be able to create a positive impact when we are involved and to do a good job. After the completion of the Inaugural Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010, we had approached the client and informed them, we are ready this time round. As the team worked on the pitch when it was released, composing the visual was a piece of cake as we have in-house photography capabilities. Our staff posed in various capacities and we submitted our pitch. Within a couple of days of our submission, we were invited to present our capabilities and to share our ideas.
On 12 May 2011, when it was officially announced that we had secured the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2011 Creative Agency pitch, all of us in TILT were ecstatic! Not only did our involvement for the event just deepened, TILT had also secured our first ever campaign work! Not only did the first Sunday for December of every year has just became more meaningful for us, this is sweet success for us ever since we decided to embark to work on more advertising work in late 2010!
